Michael Bibi completes primary cancer treatment: “Tired but happy”

Michael Bibi has shared a heartening update on his health journey, marking a significant milestone in his battle against a rare form of cancer. The 33-year-old artist, has recently completed his primary cancer treatment, offering hope and inspiration to his fans worldwide.

Earlier this year, Bibi revealed the daunting news that he had been diagnosed with Central Nervous System (CNS) lymphoma, an uncommon cancer affecting the brain and spine. The announcement sent shockwaves through the music community, leading to an outpouring of support and well wishes from fellow artists and fans alike.

In June, Bibi bravely opened up about his diagnosis, coupled with the decision to put his music career on hold temporarily, including his cherished Solid Grooves residency at Ibiza’s iconic DC-10 club. The music world rallied around him, emphasizing the importance of health and well-being above all else.  On his birthday, shortly after receiving the diagnosis, the DJ shared that he had successfully completed the initial round of treatment, resulting in a remarkable 40% reduction in the tumor’s size.

“When I first came into the hospital, I was barely able to walk. Today, I walk out with a smile, having completed my main treatment. Tired but happy… My fight against cancer is not over… but for now, a break & some extra time to enjoy life.”
