Snavs and John Alto come together to bring an ethereal track to life in their newest song ‘Headlights’, out now via Steve Aoki’s Dim Mak Records.

Danish export Snavs teamed up with new up-and-comer John Alto, also hailing from Denmark, for their new track ‘Headlights’, a dark progressive house gem with a strong vocal element. The new single immediately captivates with suspenseful, emotive female vocals cocooned in its cinematic melodies, from which a euphonious and driving bassline blossoms and undulates. The combination of dynamic and deep sonic production makes ‘Headlights suitable for singalongs during cathartic moments, but can also be heard while you’re getting down on the dancefloor. The versatility in this track is a representation of both Snavs’ and Alto’s dynamic styles, which have ranged from alt-rock to heavy bass and everything in between.

As the boss of his own label Riotville Records, Snavs has made it his mission to constantly push creative boundaries. He has explored the sonic realms through unusual collaborations that break genre barriers, including hardcore metal band Telos, legendary Scandinavian rocker Ulf ScottSøren Buhl of alt-rock band Blaue Blume, and indie singer Karen Lassen. On the other hand, Alto breaks onto the scene with a dark signature sound that is bass-heavy and extremely cinematic, making this collaborative pair a special match.

Speaking on the collaboration, the artists state, “The track was inspired by the blending of two different music styles, with the heavier bass line and club rhythm, with the euphoric atmosphere with grand and epic melodies, perfect for anthems and large stages.”
