Stereotype releases ‘BACK AGAIN/WE ON’ EP ahead of album: Listen

Stereotype is back with a brand new 2-track EP entitled ‘BACK AGAIN/WE ON’ which provides a sneak-peak into their forthcoming album ‘.LONG WAY. PLEASURE’.

The EP comes in collaboration with their long-time friend of Adam & Leon (known as Stereotype), Jacob Gibson who is also known for his work in Netflix‘s ‘One Piece’.  Both tracks showcase the evolved music style of the duo which is reminiscent of artists like Flume, Whethan, and Louis The Child.  ‘BACK AGAIN‘ features drowned-out synths that emphasize Gibson’s vocals to a tee, making this track a late-night banger.  ‘WE ON’ lives in the same vein as ‘BACK AGAIN’ and comes packed with lustful chords and vocals that sit nicely atop the carefully crafted production.

The EP comes before the yet-to-be-released album ‘.LONG WAY. PLEASURE’, which touches on their first album release ‘NOWHERE’, coming full circle from the mentality of feeling lost and wandering to blossoming into the simplest pleasures that make life worth living.

“Only then can you start on your long way to pleasure… [the album] is all about the long journey to find pleasure and the constant choice between quick comforts, like smoking a cigarette, and long-lasting pleasure. This is the difference between working for clout and fame or working for your own purpose. Trying to understand who you are and what you can contribute allows you to reach your maximum potential”, says Stereotype.
