The trance legend returns to his roots! A very exciting release was revealed on Friday, as Tiësto delivered a trance remix of the hit Swedish House Mafia track “Ray Of Solar”.

Tiësto has created a truly uplifting trance remix for the hit Swedish House Mafia track “Ray Of Solar”, adding a new twist with his own style.

“Old friends that reunite! Honoured to have our brother Tiësto breathe more life into ‘Ray Of Solar'”, added Swedish House Mafia to their post.

Dutch record producer and DJ, Tiësto, one of the world’s leading DJs, who has featured in the Top 100 of the field pretty much every year, has shown his fans many new things throughout his career. He began his DJ career in the late 1980s, and early on, in the late 90s, he found his strength in the trance genre, to which he remained loyal for many years, and released many good tracks and albums. Unfortunately, like any profession, music is a creative profession, and like it or not, it’s sometimes difficult to write good music in the same style for many years. This was certainly the case for Tiësto, when after more than a decade he moved towards mainstream and EDM. But fans have been waiting a long time for him to return to the place where almost his whole career started: trance. Not so long to wait, Swedish House Mafia announced on Thursday that they have a great remix of their track “Ray Of Solar”, straight from Tiësto. No wonder the comment sections exploded with fans’ jubilation, as one of the biggest, if not the biggest, figures in trance returned to his roots. In Tiësto’s style, the remix is a very energetic trance cover that really takes the listener back to the golden age of the genre, giving a new take on the original track. Fun fact, when the Swedish House Mafia posted on Thursday that the remix was coming, and shared Tiësto’s WhatsApp message about the track, they accidentally left the link to the track uncovered, which they immediately fixed.

In conclusion, although the trance legend has been touching this genre for a long time, he still has the energy, creativity, and magic that not many people have for this kind of trance. So the question is: will Tiësto return to the roots?
