Alongside being a part of the chart-topping K-pop group BTS, Jung Kook ventured into solo waters with his debut album Golden, which includes a collaboration with the French DJ titan DJ Snake.

After being a part of BTS for more than a decade, Jung Kook, one of the lead singers of the group, decided to make a name for himself outside of the South Korean collective. The culmination of this desire came in the form of Goldenhis debut long-play that features collaborations with Major LazerJack Harlow, and Latto, with whom he released Seven, his first single to reach 1 billion streams. The fourth and final collaboration came to life with one of the biggest A-list producers out there, DJ Snake.

Please Don’t Change is another venture into pop music for the hugely experienced DJ Snake, who enjoyed immense success with his earlier pop smashers Taki TakiLet Me Love You, or Lean On. This is not the first time DJ Snake has worked with Asian artists as LISA from Blackpink featured on his 2021 hit SG. A moombahton beat accompanies Jung Kook’s angelic voice as he sings about his wish for a loved one to never change but instead remain perfect as they are. While the track isn’t suitable for a festival stage anyhow, radio waves will surely enjoy its lush beats.

Jung Kook has achieved staggering success since he started approaching his solo career passionately. He was selected as the official soundtrack artist for last year’s FIFA World Cup in Qatar with Dreamers and even performed the track live at the opening ceremony. His previous singles Still With You, Stay Alive, and My You also gathered solid streaming numbers, thanks to his worldwide fame as a part of BTS. All things considered, his sophomore album Golden is destined to hit astronomical numbers.

Please Don’t Change is available on a plethora of streaming platforms and you can check it out down below, as always.
