months ago, the renowned English producer Chicane makes a triumphant return to Modena Records, under the umbrella of Armada Music. This time, Chicane takes a unique approach by commemorating his "greatest misses" throughout his illustrious career with a brand-new album.
Entitled The Greatest Misses, this sixteen-track compilation features songs created by Chicane that, despite earning critical acclaim and fan approval, failed to achieve chart-topping success. Chicane emphasizes that Greatest Misses isn’t your typical greatest hits album; instead, it serves as a collection of tracks that, in his words, were “either released at the wrong time or, perhaps, a little ahead of their time.”
Reflecting on the project, Chicane shares, “I pondered over these tracks for years. Even though they didn’t achieve mainstream success, I believed, and still do believe in them, as did many of my fans and industry peers. So, I embarked on a journey to revisit and breathe new life into these tracks years later. As an artist, I believe it’s crucial to embrace all facets of your work, whether they are deemed successful or not.”
The Greatest Misses is now available on Modena Records via Armada Music, inviting listeners to rediscover Chicane’s hidden treasures from his remarkable musical journey.
