David Guetta closes out the year with ‘On My Love (New Year Hypaton Remix)’: Listen

Having already enshrined his name among the legends of not just electronic music, but as a pioneer in crossing over into the world of pop music and radio hits, David Guetta certainly has earned the right to sit back and enjoy his time. Despite that, the French producer and DJ continues to raise the bar for himself and the industry through his continued project, and fans will get to close out 2023 with a stunning remix from one of his most recent hits.

For David Guetta, 2023 will largely be defined by the incredible success of his smash rework Eiffel 65’s hit Blue (Da Ba Dee), joining forces with Bebe Rexha for the infectious I’m Good (Blue), a track that quickly surpassed 1 billion streams on Spotify. While he continues to deliver incredible sets around the world, collaborate on his genre-bending FutureRave sound with Morten, and occasionally appear as a mentor on The Voice UK, he also hops in the studio to work with other mega stars such as Zara Larsson, contributing to the lead single from her next album due out in 2024, the infectious track On My Love.

Like everything Guetta touches, the original single with its stunning piano melody provides Larsson with all she needs to shine, delivering an incredible vocal performance on top before the full power of the track unleashes itself following the chorus. Having quickly surpassed the 55 million stream mark since it was first released in September, it was time to provide fans with a more dance floor focused remix of the track. Stepping up to craft this new version is HYPATON, a star in his own right who prides himself on his massive edits and remixes.

While the original version of On My Love relies on pianos and more subtle percussion, HYPATON reworks the production decisions of David Guetta to craft an edit that is more appropriate for festivals and the excitement of turning the calendar over for the new year.
