The two techno emperors collaborate: Reinier Zonneveld & Space 92 releases “Ravarp” and so they release their first single together on Filth on Acid

Reinier Zonneveld & Space 92 released their first single together on the underground-styled Filth on Acid. The track was showcased earlier during their B2B set at Awakenings ADE 2023.

About the artists

After their notable B2B set at Awakenings during this year’s Amsterdam Dance Event, a renewed collaboration is undertaken by Space 92 and Reinier Zonneveld. Space 92, a French techno producer whose trademark is trancey techno, has put together a long release list this year. A boost to his December month comes from nearly a million streams on Spotify alone. This year he has collaborated with Oliver Heldens’ deeper alias aka HI-LO on the track “Mercury”. Also had many self-releases, and worked with Hardwell and Carl Cox. The latter is on the Carl Cox X Reinier Zonneveld X Christopher Coe collaboration “Inferno”, remixed by Space 92.

On the other side of the spectrum is Reinier Zonneveld, a well-known Dutch DJ and record producer within the techno scene. Recognized for his achievements, he notably held a two-week residency at Tomorrowland last year and this year captivated the Freedom Stage audience with a two-hour set at the same venue.

About the track

Now was the time for a renewed collaboration as they joined forces for another track following their B2B set at ADE 2023. This dynamic techno track was released by Filth on Acid, the underground label established by Reinier Zonneveld in 2016. No question about it, as both are recurring and prominent figures on this label. “Ravarp” is a track with very strong beats, running at 135 BPM alone, which could definitely have a big impact on techno clubs. As mentioned earlier and in the introduction, the track was presented at ADE 2023 Awakenings. This was during Reinier’s own Live and B2B performances, which lasted several hours. Interestingly, this wasn’t the only set that spanned hours for Reinier Zonneveld. He has set a Guinness World Record for the longest DJ set category in August this year.
