Vintage Culture delivers a club version of ARTBAT’s ‘Coming Home’

The Brazilian artist adds his own dark touch to this melodic pearl.

It’s not the last Friday of the year yet, but for most, it’s the last Friday of releases. One of the highlights of this New Music Friday is the incredible remix of ‘Coming Home’ by ARTBAT and John Martin through Vintage Culture. This latest offering from the Brazilian artist this year is now available on the usual streaming and download platforms via Warner Music.

Ukrainian duo ARTBAT ended the summer in style with the release of ‘Coming Home’, a collaborative track that paired them with singer John Martin. It’s a sweet dance tune that wants to be an ode to those who return to the arms of their beloved, a piece that highlights ARTBAT’s magical powers in producing melodic gems. The exquisite and uplifting vocals of Swedish singer-songwriter John Martin harmonise perfectly with the musical arrangement. A flawless track, but Vintage Culture has given it a completely different flavour.

To end 2023 on a high note (a year that has been pretty spectacular for Lukas Ruiz), the Brazilian artist delivers a superb rendition of ‘Coming Home’, the soundtrack for everyone coming home for Christmas these days.

Managing to elegantly retain the original essence of ARTBAT’s track, Vintage Culture injects it with clubbing energy, an aura that he has been displaying with increasing perfection. The dreamy vibe is maintained in the first part of the track until it gives way to the deeper, darker elements courtesy of Vintage Culture. The drop is absolutely incredible and is, in a way, the gateway into the more clubbing version of ‘Coming Home’. Vintage Culture’s signature is perfectly palpable, gracing the entire mesh.
