Brit Awards 2024: Calvin Harris lands 3 nominations

Brit Awards 2024 nominations announced: a number of electronic music greats have been added among other artists

Calvin Harris is the absolute winner of the Brit Awards 2024 nominations in the dance music category. But Fred again.. and Chase & Status also made it to the lists, among others.

Lately, we’ve been jumping from awards ceremony to awards ceremony. Recently, the Billboard Music Awards took place, and the Grammy Awards are well worth noting too. Now, the Brit Awards nominations have been announced. And the final of the Brit Awards 2024 will take place on March 2.

The nominees have been announced, and Scottish DJ and producer Calvin Harris has finished this year with a truly outstanding result. He has been nominated in 3 categories in total. One of those categories was Song of the Year, no doubt with a song like “Miracle”. The track, which was recorded with Ellie Goulding, also received an official remix pack later this summer after its release. Calvin Harris was also nominated in two public votes, one for “Pop Act” and one for “Dance Act”.

The “Dance Act” category has brought a number of other interesting artists this year. One of them is Fred Again.., who also appeared in the “Artist of the Year” category. But also nominated in this category were Romy, Barry Can’t Swim, and Becky Hill. The latter is no wonder, as one only needs to think back to the Drum and Bass banger ‘Disconnect’, released last summer, featuring the legendary duo Chase & Status. But Peggy Gou’s smash house hit “It Goes Like (Nanana)”, for example, also made it to the “International Song of the Year” list. The latter list also includes Robin Schulz and Oliver Tree’s release “Miss You”.
