Most humans love music as well as dogs, but the two have little interaction and correlation…until now. The team at Zoo Gears hopes to provide dogs everywhere with a chance to make their own music.

As the doors open at CES2024 in Las Vegas, the world is getting a look at some of the most exciting and brand-new consumer technology available around the world. One company is hoping to expand what is currently a pretty niche market, musical dogs. The team at Zoo Gears first surfaced in early 2023 with a Kickstarter designed to raise funds for the company’s first launch, TheButter. TheButter is a simple, four-light-up pad device designed to teach dogs to follow a pattern while music plays around them. The release was a success, as the company surpassed its goal four times over. TheButter is currently available in the United States for just $99.

With an audience excited for an instrument that connects musicians with their pets, the team is looking to expand upon the concept and launch TheBiscuit, a spinning treat tray designed to reward the dog. The concept plays upon that of Pavlov’s famous experiment, and the team at Zoo Gears hopes it will speed up the dog’s learning process. While not on the market yet, TheBiscuit will retail for $299 and help owners provide the necessary reward to engage their pets in the activity.
