Four Tet reveals his new single ‘Daydream Repeat’: Listen

While he is known to help out many influential names in the EDM scene, Four Tet has been actively working in the studio, revealing a third immersive single for his upcoming album set to release this year.

Four Tet was always creating and inventing new trends in the electronic music scene since the 90s. Since then, he has managed to give fans 12 full studio albums and released many groundbreaking collaborations with the biggest names being Fred Again.. and Skrillex where the trio massively gained popularity in 2023 with their most legendary ‘Pangbourne House Mafia‘ set at Coachella 2023 replacing Frank Ocean.

‘Daydream Repeat’ is a piece that features very unique and creative sound design. It starts with a very rhythmic house beat with tight high-end percussions and you can hear a wind synth-type sound that can give off an eerie atmosphere. Later on during this 6-minute dreamy journey, the vibe switches into a happier, melancholic vibe. Overall, the track has many unique sound design elements that make this a very ambient and atmospheric adventure similar to what he has shown on his previous LP ‘Sixteen Oceans’.

Four Tet is currently exploring the world of playing many sets and has been booked for many big festival stages like Parklife 2024 and We Love Green. Recently, the artist announced his festival Four Tet & Friends Under The K Bridge in Brooklyn NY featuring many underground names such as Sammy Virji, Salute + special guests that haven’t been revealed yet.
