Unleashing a wave of dancefloor euphoria, John Summit and Hayla reunite to deliver their electrifying new single, ‘Shiver’.

John Summit, a global dance phenomenon, has teamed up with UK’s rising star Hayla for their second collaboration, “Shiver”. Released on Experts Only, the track is a blend of Summit’s diverse production and Hayla’s powerful vocals and emotional songwriting.

John Summit and Hayla’s 2023 collaboration, ‘Where You Are’, achieved global success. The track peaked at #8 on the Billboard Hot Dance/Electronic Songs Chart and reached the top spot on the US Dance radio chart. Now, the dynamic duo is back with their 2024 follow-up “Shiver”, setting high expectations for dance music this year.

John Summit shared his thoughts on the new record, “Last year, Hayla and I had one of the biggest dance records of the year with ‘Where You Are’, so we knew we had to follow it up. It took about 9 months to get this record done, but it was worth it. This might be my favorite record to date — definitely the most emotion I put behind a song.”

Hayla also shared her thoughts on “Shiver”, “Shiver is all about that moment when you finally start to feel your emotions again and feel alive. Being with that one person, or with a group of people that make you want to live in that moment forever. The line ‘Can you feel it now’ is almost a self-reflection and realisation that this moment is exactly what you needed.”

John Summit and Hayla have done it again. With their new release ‘Shiver’, John Summit and Hayla’s influence on dance music is undeniable. Their track ‘Where You Are’ became a dance hit a year ago and remains a potential classic. “Shiver” marks Summit’s first original single of 2024. This is the year that will most likely see the meteoric producer release his debut album.
