Oeksound officially releases highly anticipated new plugin Bloom

Earlier this year, the team at Oeksound revealed that it would finally be releasing a new plugin to add to its already powerful collection of tools. With four years between releases, the entire music industry has been anxiously awaiting the next plugin from the company.

Back in January of 2024, the music industry once again turned its sights to Anaheim, CA for the annual NAMM conference. During the week of demonstrations, performances, and keynotes, the team at Oeksound revealed that it was preparing to release a powerful new EQ based plugin titled Bloom. While no official release date was announced at the time, many of the details and specs of the new plugin were shared and showcased during the event. Representatives at Oeksound spoke of the powerful tools contained in Bloom:

“Bloom does what people often do with an EQ, but automates a lot of the manual work, especially when working with changing material. It can also be more transparent than an EQ because of its adaptive nature. Instead of static filters, Bloom calibrates boosts and cuts in real-time to match the actual need at that moment.” – Tommi Gröhn, DSP developer, co-founder of Oeksound Ltd.

Users of Bloom will have access to four frequency sliders as well as compressor style controls via the Attack/Release knobs and ‘squash’ feature.
