Reinier Zonneveld is looking to expand and utilize artificial technology in new and exciting ways to help enhance his own works and output. Now the iconic producer will be bringing his artificial mind to the live space for an incredible b2b set.

Never one to shy away from taking chances and embarking on pioneering projects and musical journeys, Reinier Zonneveld will transcend the gap between human performance and artificial intelligence in front of a live audience during the inaugural R² Festival this August. Upon announcing the set, Zonneveld took fans into his own studio where his musical brain has been cloned digitally to give a look at how his computer self operates. In one of the short clips, the producer reveals how this project has been in the works for 4 years, with a friend of his doing the coding. The system responds quickly to speech, quickly outputting incredible-sounding tracks based on previous works in his catalog.

While the in-studio example is a sight to see, the true power of Reinier Zonneveld’s AI clone will be when it gets showcased on the live stage. Thanks to the algorithms and response to the speech, Zonneveld can go b2b with the computer, directing it to create and output content in real time. This will be on display in Velsen-Zuid this summer when the team at Free Your Mind opens the doors for the first-ever R² Festival. On top of the first-ever AI b2b set, the event will feature 8 stages with some of the biggest brands in techno serving as hosts.

Get all the details at the official R² Festival website and sign up for tickets today to witness this groundbreaking performance between man and technology.
