Underworld & KETTAMA release thunderous collaboration ‘Fen Violet’: Listen
Coming together for a second year in a row, Underworld & KETTAMA combined experience and youth in a smashing collaboration Fen Violet, out now on Smith Hyde Productions.
KETTAMA was happy like a little kid when he took to social media to share footage of him sharing the stage with the legendary duo Underworld in Amsterdam. It was not just any ordinary occurrence. It was to play their brand new collaboration Fen Violet, their 2nd one in 4 months after they already worked on g-town euphoria (luna) back in December of last year. g-town euphoria (luna) served as a recreation of Underworld’s 2023 single Denver Luna.
KETTAMA has shown his gratitude on his Instagram where he was full of praise for the legendary British group:
“A dream to be able to work with my new friends Rick and Karl again. Seeing two people that live and breathe dance music and still have love for it after so many years of hammering it is truly awe inspiring.”
The track itself is incredibly energetic with a plethora of piano and the extraordinary voice of Karl Hyde, one of the members of Underworld. It’s relentless, it’s explosive, and it most definitely takes the listener on a journey with some exemplary storytelling by Underworld.
The release of Fen Violet comes amidst Underworld’s preparation for their tour of Europe and the United Kingdom. First off they are set to complete 4 nights at Gashouder in Amsterdam, and then they embark on UFO Velodrom in Berlin (sold out), Oslo, Copenhagen, and more. For the rest of the tour dates check out their official website. The trio has also put out a brilliant visualizer for the song on Youtube which you can check down below.
