Coachella livestream details

Coachella has announced it will livestream both weekends of the festival, set against the stunning backdrop of the Indio, California desert. This year’s livestream will introduce a new multiview option, enhancing the viewer’s experience.

Coachella 2024 is gearing up for its official YouTube livestream of both weekends, scheduled for April 12-14 and April 19-21, with the introduction of an exciting new feature: multiview. Starting next Friday, music enthusiasts who are unable to attend the festival in person can enjoy performances from six selected stages, all from the comfort of their couches. This year, attendees can enhance their viewing experience by simultaneously watching performances from four different stages on the same screen while listening to audio from their chosen stage.

The festival has confirmed that the multiview feature will be accessible to viewers on any YouTube TV app, even without a subscription to YouTube TV. While specific set times have yet to be released, organizers have announced that the livestream will showcase performances from iconic stages including the Coachella Stage, Outdoor Theatre, Sahara, Mojave, Gobi, and Sonora. Headlining Coachella 2024 are acclaimed artists Lana Del Rey, Tyler, The Creator, and Doja Cat, with a special performance featuring NO DOUBT adding to the excitement. Dance music enthusiasts will also be thrilled to see a lineup stacked with talent, including Peggy Gou, Kevin de Vries, Dom Dolla, Will Clarke, Anyma, John Summit, and Rebūke among others.

Since 2011, YouTube has agreed with Goldenvoice, Coachella’s organizers, to livestream festival performances on their platforms. Past streamed performances include artists such as Kaskade, Beyonce, and BLACKPINK, who have racked up millions of views as well as excitement on social media platforms. Since YouTube pays for a licensing fee to feature such performances of its livestream, it benefits from the ad revenue generated by the enormous viewership. Goldenvoice and YouTube have recently agreed to renew their exclusive partnership through 2026.
