Fresh off of country music's biggest party Stagecoach where he hosted his own Diplo's Honky Tonk stage, Diplo brought back his Thomas Wesley alias for a brand new EP strictly called Thomas Wesley: The Mixtape. Country music has been one of the pillars of Diplo's career over the past year with his collaboration together with the country legend Morgan Wallen Heartless clocking in at over 500 million streams on Spotify. Some other country artists Diplo has worked with in the past include Marren Morris and The Jonas Brothers while his remix for Lil Nas X & Billy Ray Cyrus remains one of his most successful remixes to date.

Tapping into the realm of country music once more, Diplo brought back his Thomas Wesley alias one more time for a special EP simply titled Thomas Wesley: The Mixtape.

Thomas Wesley: The Mixtape in particular features a plethora of remixes, VIP mixes, and 1 brand new original. The most notable remix is a huge one because Diplo managed to land an official remix for Outfield’s legendary hit Your Love which he transformed into a house belter. Together with VAVO, Diplo remixed Bailey Zimmerman’s Religiously while Whethan was called upon to transform Diplo & Morgan Wade’s Never Die. The only original track of the EP comes in the form of Willing To Let You Go featuring Anella Herim & Abby Anderson.

Being a part of Stagecoach has taken Diplo to brand new heights in his already illustrious career. As a big fan of country music, it was evident that one day he might just tap into the vast genre. It certainly paid off for him because not only did he earn worldwide acclaim, he also gained many industry friends and collaborators to work with.
