Dom Dolla brings out Nelly Furtado at iconic Coachella 2024 set

Dom Dolla had one of the most memorable set of Coachella 2024 and put his name in the history books as he surprised a packed Sahara Tent with an appearance from Nelly Furtado.

You can’t deny that Dom Dolla has turned into an absolute superstar. No matter where he plays, he brings the biggest party with him. So you would think that the Australian house music icon and Coachella 2024 is a match made in Heaven, and it absolutely was. With already a stellar performance Dom Dolla took things to another level when brought out Nelly Furtado as a guest appearance.

Performing his solo set at the Sahara Tent on Saturday, it was no surprise that the stars would be out to see it and that there would be surprises. Packing the iconic stage to the edges, Dom Dolla closed out the night in front of one of the biggest crowds of any electronic artists of the weekend. In the crowd included the likes of Taylor Swift, Travis Kelce and Ice Spice who seemed to really be enjoying the high-energy set.

Dolla opened with one of his most popular unreleased tracks in ‘GIRLS.’ From then on out, it was pandemonium as he played heart-racing IDs and new mashups along with his classics such as ‘Miracle Maker,’ ‘Rhyme Dust,’ ‘Moving Blind’ and ‘Saving Up.’

However, the highlight of the set and possibly of the entire day on that stage was when Dolla surprised fans with a guest appearance from Nelly Furtado. Together, they did their now iconic mashup of ‘Maneater,’ and Benny Benassi’s ‘Satisfaction,’ and then later, Furtado returned to perform her and Dolla’s 2023 collaboration ‘Eat Your Man.’ The crowd noise was so loud that it could be heard throughout the grounds as the two reunited on stage and etched their names as one of the iconic moments in the history of Coachella.

Saturday night showed that Dom Dolla’s star is as bright as anybody’s currently in dance music. With as much expectation and anticipation that had led up to his solo Coachella 2024 show, it was not an easy task that Dolla had on his hands. But as a superstar so often does, Dolla not only passed the expectations, he completely shattered them.
