Gesaffelstein delivers jam-packed ID set at Coachella 2024

When discussing dance music icons, you can not have the conversation without mentioning the name Gesaffelstein. The French producer has been a pillar in the genre for years as he continually finds a way to innovate in both his music and his live performances. His shows become iconic moments in history, and he never disappoints. So when his name was revealed on this year's lineup, attendees were salivating at what the performance could look like. And on Saturday night at the Outdoor stage, everyone, once again witnessed the brilliance of the man in the mask as Gesaffelstein made jaws drop at Coachella 2024.

Making his return to the desert, Gesaffelstein captivated the audience of Coachella 2024 and delivered a unique set that only he is capable of providing.

Playing in the desert for the first time since 2019, it was clear that this would become a moment that sent chatter across the festival grounds. Providing one of the best stage setups of the weekend that resembled crystals coming out of the ground and massive pillars across the entirety of the stage, Gesaffelstein wore his iconic silver face helmet with an all-black suit. With a dark-themed tone, the set was filled with numerous IDs and the iconic aggressive techno sound that Gesaffelstein has mastered so beautifully. Every part of the performance was masterful. The camera work for the screens was outstanding, the attention to detail in the stage design was exquisite, the lights were captivating and the music was of the highest level. Many attendees walked away from the show, stating it was the best thing that they had seen in quite some time.

Gesaffelstein’s set became one of the most talked about moments on X during the of Coachella 2024. Those who were in attendance and those watching the livestream could not believe what they had witnessed. It was undoubtedly one of the defining moments of Coachella and proves that Gesaffelstein will also be at the top of the mountain when it comes to live production.
