Jack Back and THEMBA deliver new single as part of Defected Records’ 25th Anniversary

David Guetta has shown time and again that his production talents can easily ebb and flow between genres. Now he returns to his Jack Back alias alongside THEMBA to craft an Afro-inspired house anthem.

Although David Guetta cemented himself as a legend in the electronic music and pop crossover landscape over a decade ago, he continues to release tracks that push the boundaries of sound and resonate with the modern scene. As he continues to build his career as well as deliver pounding anthems under the banner of Future Rave, he has opted to return to his house roots and his Jack Back alias for his latest offering. The latest offering from his side project sees the French producer teaming up with Afro-house pioneer, THEMBA to craft the infectious single, Give Me Something To Hold On To.

The infectious new release is part of Defected Records’ 25th anniversary Together series, as the iconic label continues to stay at the forefront of house music by bringing together artists for new productions and exclusive remixes. For their entry into the series, Jack Back and THEMBA have produced a slick house anthem that wastes no time bringing in the groove. While the combination of the two artists’ styles has crafted a dance floor-ready anthem, the vocal topline is equally as hypnotic and enchanting.
