Friday, March 22

Friday night was one for the history books as Ultra Music Festival kicked off day 1 of their 24th edition. Despite the persistent rain that had been drenching the city throughout the day and into the opening hours of the event, eager festival-goers arrived in the masses, undeterred by the weather conditions. Despite the continuous downpour, spirits remained high, and the festival seemed to be proceeding smoothly. However, as the evening progressed, the situation took a turn when lightning struck nearby, prompting authorities to issue a tornado/severe weather warning for the area. Consequently, for the safety of attendees, the festival was abruptly cut short at around 9 PM, right before the start of Hardwell’s set at the Main Stage.

The severe weather warning also resulted in the cancellation of outdoor nighttime events, including the highly anticipated mau5trap showcase at Wynwood’s Toejam Backlot. This unfortunate turn of events meant that Deadmau5, the label boss of mau5trap, was unable to perform as scheduled. Those fans looking to catch the mau5trap label boss behind the decks had another opportunity to see him perform Sunday night at E11EVEN Miami

Saturday, March 23

Despite heavy thunderstorms and persistent rainfall continuing into Saturday morning, Ultra Miami managed to address the water accumulation on the festival grounds and also get the green light from the city to proceed with the festival, ensuring a delayed start to day 2. To the delight of attendees, Ultra also surprised with the announcement of Hardwell‘s rescheduled performance and an extension of the festival by an extra hour.

The festivities continued well into the late hours of the night as Sable Valley hosted its highly anticipated Miami Music Week event at The Ground Miami. The lineup boasted an impressive array of talent, including Moore Kismet, ROSSY, Jon Casey, Holly, Pauline Herr, and of course, RL Grime. With trap music taking center stage, each artist delivered a gritty and electrifying performance, satisfying the crowd’s craving for high-energy beats and infectious rhythms.

Sunday, March 24

After enduring gloomy skies and torrential rain on Friday and Saturday, Sunday dawned as the epitome of a perfect, sunny Miami March day. Day 3 of Ultra Miami started as scheduled, much to the excitement of fans eager to finally enjoy the festival without the threat of getting soaked. ARTBAT wasted no time in elevating the energy levels at the RESISTANCE Megastructure, delivering a massive performance and unveiling multiple new IDs for fans to savor. Meanwhile over at the Main Stage, Nora En Pure, Oliver Heldens, and Afrojack mesmerized the crowd with their respective sets, setting the stage for the evening’s two headliners, Armin van Buuren and Calvin Harris.
