Home News Michael Bibi shares positive vibes ahead of his Coachella appearance

Coming off a year filled with uncertainty, disease, and fear, Michael Bibi has rebounded back and is about to play a massive set in the California desert. Showing his excitement and appreciation, the producer took to social media to share a special message with his fans.

Less than a year ago, Michael Bibi took to social media to reveal that he had been diagnosed with CNS Lymphoma, a rare form of cancer, and that he would be undergoing treatment. At the time, the entire electronic music community shared its love and concern for his diagnosis and hoped for a positive outcome from such a dark reality. Fortunately for his family, friends, and fans, he was cured, once again taking to social media before the year’s end to declare, ‘CANCER FREE!’

With that terrible period behind him, he is returning to music and getting back on stage to share his gift with the world. On Instagram, he shared a short video where he discussed his upcoming return to performing at Coachella this year. He states that he has all the nerves and excitement of when he was 18 and his excitement for the moment to arrive. In the post, he also writes:

One year ago I had a tumour found in the centre of my brain, today I’m finally preparing to go back to doing what I love & have missed so much… I don’t think I could have done any of this without all of your support & energy, I thankyou all from the bottom of my heart & now I’m ready to give some of that back through playing music….it doesn’t quite feel real but I think it’s actually happening! @coachella

Michael Bibi will be playing the newly designed Quasar Stage on April 13th, delivering what will surely be an emotional and beautiful return.
