RESISTANCE Miami Race Week reveals incredible line-up of music

For years, Miami, FL has earned a distinction as one of the elite landscapes for electronic music thanks to the annual Ultra Music Festival and ongoing RESISTANCE Miami Residency. With Race Week fast approaching at the beginning of May, the brand will host a weekend of incredible music to celebrate the festivities.

While the Ultra Music Festival is an event in and of itself, the RESISTANCE Stage and brand have become its own force within the electronic music landscape as well. Starting in 2023, RESISTANCE began a residency at M2 in Miami as it looked to bring some of the most exciting names in techno and house music to southern Florida city. Ahead of the Grand Prix returning to Miami, the brand is looking to ensure that race and electronic music fans will have plenty of entertainment options beyond the racetrack.

Friday, May 3

When Ultra Music Festival revealed its 2024 line-up, what most fans noticed was specifically one DJ missing who has become a staple of the Miami event. With Carl Cox absent from the RESISTANCE Stage during Ultra, it allowed other artists to step up, but his presence was still missed. Cox will give fans in the area a chance to catch one of his iconic sets under the RESISTANCE banner during Miami Race Week. On Friday, May 3rd, the British DJ will take over M2 for a massive 4-hour extended set. He will be supported by Hidden Empire and M.O.N.R.O.E., delivering a massive night of music to cap off the first night of races in the area.

Saturday, May 4

The party will keep going on May 4th with another extended set, this time with Mathame providing 3 hours of music in the Main Room. Supporting him on Saturday will also be German producer HOSH as well as RESISTANCE first-timers, Eagles & Butterflies. As RESISTANCE Miami continues to deliver some of the most exciting artists from around the world, the team has made sure to provide one of the most exciting line-ups in the residency to align with Race Week in the region.
