What is Superbooth? When is it?

Every year, the world of electronic music gear comes alive at Superbooth in Berlin. This incredible 3-day event is a true celebration of synthesizers, drum machines, effects pedals, and all the latest innovative music technologies.

History

Superbooth started over 20 years ago as a small gathering of synth enthusiasts at the Musikmesse trade show in Frankfurt. A tight-knit group of friends carved out their own space to showcase exotic electronic instruments from small manufacturers. They would connect and combine these offbeat gear pieces, jamming and creating unique soundscapes right on the convention floor.

As this “SuperBooth” section grew in popularity, the founders realized they needed to take it to the next level as its own dedicated event. In 2015, they relocated Superbooth to the vibrant city of Berlin and transformed it into a full-fledged trade fair and festival.

The first standalone Superbooth in 2016 hosted 96 exhibitors and provided an amazing atmosphere for musicians, builders, and fans to intermingle. Subsequent years saw rapid growth, with almost 230 exhibitor brands participating by 2019.

While the pandemic forced a digital-only “Home Edition” in 2020, Superbooth roared back in 2021 with a special outdoor format amidst the lush greenery surrounding the FEZ-Berlin venue. The 2022 event was an absolute smash hit, with three jam-packed days of product launches, performances, and synth community bonding.

When is Superbooth 2024?

This year’s edition will take place at the FEZ-Berlin from 16th to 18th May.

Ticket Prices

One day ticket at Superbooth 2024 costs €39.00  and the complete 3 day pass costs €98.00. There are separate tickets for workshops as well with some of them being free of cost. You can purchase tickets for Superbooth here.
