Swedish House Mafia play a new version of ‘Omen’ in Italy: Watch

Swedish House Mafia unveiled a new version of “Omen’“at the Lucca Summer Festival in Italy this past weekend in a newly posted video to Reddit.

In what seems to be a never-ending tease, the unreleased, yet highly anticipated track by SHM, ‘Omen’ has a new sound. Crowd-tested at the Lucca Summer Festival in Italy this past weekend, this version seems to have a positive reaction amongst festival-goers. In the video, you can hear the fans’ reaction to the monster drop as everyone sings along to the unreleased track.

Over the past year, SHM has performed this track live and teased on social media, including multiple versions. There have been a couple of different versions played at Ultra, Creamfields, Kappa Futur Festival, and now Lucca Summer Festival, leading fans to speculate that there might be an EP solely for “Omen“. The version that debuted at Lucca features a harder-hitting drop and a more prolonged one at that, which counters the vibes from the other previews. All in all, ‘Omen’ is going to be a massive release once it’s out.

While fans eagerly await the release of the newest SHM album which is apparently in the works and to date, has no official release date, SHM have kept fans on their toes throughout the imminent drop with previews packed to the gills. Among them are speculated to be reworks of “Don’t You Worry Child” and “Antidote“, a Corey James & Magnificent collab, and a speculatively titled track “Lioness”.
