Gorillaz to curate and headline UK festival ‘Demon Dayz’

Resurfacing after 6 years with the release of ‘Hallelujah Money’, UK legends Gorillaz have been hard at work strategically releasing information about their 2017 comeback. After Damon Albarn, Gorillaz frontman, revealed to a fan the end of February about a possible comeback festival, viewers everywhere continue to stay glued to any notice of this reunion coming to fruition.

Released today, the date has finally been released. Back with their first show since 2010, the group is happy to announce the reveal of Demon Dayz. Yet to include any other acts on the flyer, the show will take place at Dreamlands amusement park in Margate, June 10th. The Saturday show is selling for £60 as of now, and also includes access to the park itself. And if that’s not enough, the show will be aired live on Red Bull TV, making it the perfect marketing platform for their newly announced album as well.

The bill is promised to be a big one, and for its inaugural year, I’m sure we can expect the lineup to gain momentum as the months roll closer.
