DJ Snake announces launch of new label ‘Premiere Classe’
French phenomenon DJ Snake is starting off 2018 in a different way. Despite releasing his first track of the year in late February, he’s been traveling full-steam ahead ever since. His single ‘Magenta Riddim‘ peaked at #12 on the French singles chart, as well as #20 on the US Dance charts. Now, the 31-year-old is set to launch his own record label, ‘Premiere Classe‘, with 4B and Teez‘s new collaboration ‘Whistle‘ being the first release.
Speaking about his motivation behind the label, DJ Snake explained the following:
“I was given a chance some time ago and it changed my life forever, I want to be able to give the same chance to the next generation of artists. There’s a new wave coming, and we are going to be a part of it. No politics. Just dope s**t.”
Being a leader in the Jersey Club and Trap genres, 4B is known for supplying the DJ community with banger after banger and ‘Whistle’ is nothing short of that. Linking up with fellow New Jersey product, Teez, ‘Whistle’ is 4B’s most anticipated single yet, releasing the track via Premiere Classe, one of the first artists to truly support 4B.
