Home Uncategorized Martin Garrix and David Guetta launch remix contest for ‘Like I Do’

Following the insane success of ‘Like I Do‘, co-collaborators Martin Garrix and David Guetta have launched a remix contest, giving producers across the globe, a chance to gain recognition from the iconic DJ’s. The winner will receive an official release and will be shared on Guetta’s Facebook page, as well as a DJ sampler DJS-1000 from Pioneer.

In association with talent discovery community, Soonvibes‘ new app, the EDM-stars’ remix competition gives production savvy fans the opportunity to create their own rework of the track. The contest will run for the next two weeks and is available to all participants outside the US. In addition to this, the winning remix will be decided by mix quality as well as originality.

The last time Garrix and Guetta collaborated, they slowed down the tempo and delivered ‘So Far Away‘. The track reached #1 on the Beatport Trap/Future Bass chart, however, it has already been eclipsed by the release of ‘Like I Do’, which reached #1 on the Future House chart just 2 days after its release. While it’s still currently comfortably sitting at #1, ‘Like I Do’ has also peaked at #6 on the overall chart, making it the only Future House release in the top 20.
