Steve Aoki confirms upcoming collaboration with Maluma
Whether he is dropping new music with fellow electronic masterminds or surprising fans with his newly opened pizza store called Pizzaoki, Steve Aoki is one of the busiest artists in the industry. Not to mention running his successful record label, Dim Mak, Steve’s work ethic knows no boundaries and is always full steam ahead.
Throughout his bustling music career, Aoki has collaborated with an almost endless list of producers and vocalists which include the likes of Laidback Luke, Afrojack, Don Diablo, Lil Jon, and Will.i.am to name a few. So it is no surprise that yet again Steve Aoki has confirmed another upcoming collaboration is on its way. This time the ‘Turbulence‘ star is joining forces with Colombian singer Maluma.
Confirming the news of the collaboration on his Twitter profile, Aoki tweeted “Back in the studio & we got a big one coming @maluma” alongside a screenshot of what appears to be the music producer and singer sharing a facetime chat. With Aoki known for his high-calibre work, we are certainly expecting good things to come from this one.
Equally, Maluma will no doubt be bringing his Colombian flair to this collaboration. Maluma is no stranger to the Billboard charts with several of his singles charting within the top 10 of Billboard Hot Latin Songs. The reggaeton singer has also been nominated for several awards throughout his career which includes a Latin Grammy award for Best New Artist in 2013 and two categories at the Billboard Music Awards last year.
