The past few weeks have been very crazy regarding the Dash Berlin legal ownership case. There is a convoluted tangle involving those involved in the Dash Berlin project, and who should have rightful ownership of the brand. Recently, the Twitter and Facebook accounts for the group Dash Berlin were altered to no longer include frontman Jeff Sutorius. Eelke Kalberg and Sebastiaan Molijn are names involved in the story as these men are seeking ownership of the name.

Currently, Kalberg and Molijn are slowly looking to distance themselves to Sutorius. In a stunning move,  the frontman for Dash Berlin announced his plans to move forward with the project, solo. In a statement, Sutorius states:

The fans and promoters have supported me enormously throughout the years. In the past few months, I have received many heartwarming words of support and encouragement. I’m really looking forward to performing again and making new memories.

He is on record saying:

Music is my life and various events in the past year have inspired me to come up with new ideas. I can’t wait to share new music with my fans!

This move has scene lots of love and support from fans. People are sending in supportive messages on twitter and Instagram wishing him all the best as he moves forward with something new. His Twitter account features a bio that is simply, ” Ahhh… It’s good to be back guys”. Dash Berlin was the first DJ to be announced for Armin van Buuren’s ‘A State Of Trance 600’ event in 2013. Dash has played at ASOT Den Bosch, ASOT Mexico City, ASOT Minsk, ASOT Sofia, ASOT Beirut, and ASOT Guatemala. In 2013, the prolific DJ was ranked as the 10th DJ in the world according to the DJMag poll.

Stay tuned for more updates regarding the state of Dash Berlin.
