Celebrate Alan Walker’s birthday with his breakthrough hit ‘Faded’

Alan Olav Walker, better known as Alan Walker burst onto the scene in 2015 with his massive single ‘Faded’ which received platinum certifications in more than 10 countries and won him a myriad of awards after accumulating over 1.6 billion views on the YouTube music video. Since then it’s been an impressive rise to the top for the Norwegian DJ and producer, who has time and time again proven he is one of the most talented electronic musicians through his memorable melodies and unique style. He followed the success of Faded by releasing another chart-topper in ‘Sing Me To Sleep’, which was streamed over 170 million times on Spotify and reached the number 1 position on iTunes in 7 countries. After a number of other successful releases, a World Tour and supporting some of the biggest acts in the world like Rihanna, Martin Garrix and Justin Bieber, Alan Walker has just released his new single ‘Darkside’ with an accompanying music video in collaboration with Au/Ra and Tomine Harket providing something that will stand the test of time.

So Far 2018 has been a great year for the Norwegian DJ and producer, releasing incredible new music and delivering spectacular live shows including a scintillating performance on the Tomorrowland 2018 MainStage. Kygo also revealed in a recent interview that the two are working on a track together which will no doubt be something to look forward to in the near future.
