R3hab opens up on the release of new album ‘The Wave’

Dutch DJ/Producer R3hab is undoubtedly one of the most recognisable Electro House hit-makers of the current era. Tracks such as ‘Tiger‘, ‘Won’t Stop Rocking‘, and ‘Soundwave’ will forever be recognized as mainstage mainstays, however, Fadil El Ghoul’s latest album; ‘The Wave’, takes a step in a different, more experimental direction. An unquestionably diverse album, Ghoul features the likes of Conor Maynard, Krewella, Mike Williams and many more.

Explaining his inspiration behind his sophomore album, R3hab explained the following:

“The Wave stands for the emotions and feelings that we experience in life. Just like waves, they hit us and slowly and roll back. It usually doesn’t take long to be hit with a new wave. The album has a record for each type of mood you are in, with its own vibe and identity. Blended and banded together with electronic production, it feels like a special journey to me.”

The album, which saw its release just 4 days ago, is already making waves on Spotify, with the title track notching up more than 24 million streams, and ‘Lullaby’ raking in 58 million streams. Experimenting with Deep House, Future Bass and various other experimental sounds, ‘The Wave’ displays Ghoul’s intricate & creative mind and flaunts his diverse production skills.
