The year 2018 was a busy one for Wesley Pentz, better known under his stage name Diplo. The 40-year old American has not only been working on several solo projects, but he also was involved in multiple releases with other great artists. On his solo side, he released another collab with Danish singer MØ called ‘Sun In Our Eyes’Then, Diplo, of course, continued his Major Lazer project. After the news emerged that the trio is going to end the project, it all seems that they are going to continue it. Diplo’s LSD project also made big waves, standing for Labrinth, Sia, and Diplo. The three put out some impressive tracks already, including ‘Audio’.  And lastly, Diplo teamed up with singer Mark Ronson for their Silk City project. In order to start off 2019 the right way, Diplo has now gifted us with a new mix of Diplo & Friends!

Diplo begins his 2-hour mix with the MK remix of his Silk City track ‘Electricity’ featuring Dua Lipa. The DJ and producer is also the owner of the Mad Decent label and new music coming from it is also part of the mix, courtesy of Grandtheft and Party Favor. The newest Diplo & Freinds mix is a huge combination of new and old music, emotional and ecstatic. Some examples are Axwell’s newest solo track ‘Nobody Else’, Kölsch’‘Grey’ and Diplos very own ‘200 MPH’ together with Bad Bunny.

Other featured artists are Chris Lorenzo, Martin Solveig, MOGUAI, and Keys N Krates. Diplo perfectly managed to combine a lot of different music styles and feels in his new mix, making it a perfect set for both a night out as well as a relaxed Sunday.
