Anton Zaslavski is the creator of some of the worlds best known tracks. ‘The Middle‘, ‘Clarity‘, ‘Stay The Night‘, and many others were all produced by the Russian-German producer, widely regarded as one of the finest in the business. He obviously decided that his full name was too complicated to be his DJ name, so he took the initial of his surname, and became Zedd. Taking to the Ultra Music Festival main stage during Day 2, Zedd stole the show, with an impeccable set blending old and new through his careful selection.

Kicking things off with his iconic ‘Beautiful Now‘ intro edit – which he recently revealed on Twitter would see its final outing at Ultra – the set was packed with classic Zedd tracks from start to finish. Dropping many originals, and remixes of his tracks, Zedd also blended in some of the biggest tracks from recent times, including Fisher’s ‘Losing It‘, and the Cedric Gervais remix of ‘Mi Gente‘. There were also many older bangers, with numerous Swedish House Mafia tracks played, Daft Punk’s ‘One More Time‘, and Crookers remix of AC/DC’s ‘Thunderstruck‘. Playing to a packed out crowd, the 29 year old returned following numerous shows in previous years at the festival, but Zedd certainly topped all prior performances with plenty of new content for the Miami crowd.
