Steve Aoki delivers bass-heavy of R3HAB, ZAYN & Jungleboi’s collab ‘Flames’
Delivering yet another solid trap remix, Steve Aoki has provided R3HAB’s hit track “Flames” with a revitalising, bass-heavy new sound.
Having struck up over 18 million streams after its original release back in November, Aoki clearly couldn’t resist the temptation to put his very own spin on the hit record. Completely rewiring the original, the 42-year old has laced ZAYN’s infectious, chopped-up vocals with heavy baselines and trap-style drums to give the track a refreshing new dynamic. The remix dropped on CYB3RPVNK is already nearing six figures with regards to Spotify streams alone, looking to grow in the following weeks.
The remix isn’t the first of Aoki’s works to be released in 2020 having just brought an original single “Maldad” into the music world midway though January, working with Maluma on the Reggaeton inspired anthem.
As for R3HAB, he continues to push his own boundaries, breaking his own streaming records year on year. He has already released 4 tracks in the new decade; originals such as “More Than OK” and remixes such as “Turning Up” and “Money” are seeing great success.
