Armin van Buuren dropped a brand new remix of the soulful “Live Without Love” by Shouse & David Guetta. Premiered in his Electric Daisy Carnival set last May, the remix takes a more aggressive and energetic road.

Armin van Buuren rarely remixes tracks by other DJs/producers. The renowned Dutch trance legend usually takes a spin on his more commercial productions via club mixes. But, when it comes to remixes for other artists, Armin is usually silent. His last official remix came in October of 2021 for Slander and Dylan Matthew’s Love Is Gone which is a track that completely aligns with Armin’s signature trance sound. This time around, multi-talented duo Shouse and dance music titan David Guetta were the ones to receive premium treatment by Armin van Buuren for their latest anthem “Live Without Love”.

As mentioned before, Armin decided to take a more energetic approach to the overall whole-hearted anthem that tries to preach to the masses that love is truly important in this world. Fans of the Dutchman would have seen the remix being released as an emotionally uplifting trance rendition. Instead, Armin van Buuren crafted a truly banging acid house version of the track. It this truly remarkable that a track containing such pure vocals from Shouse would work so well with the bumptious acid synths that many producers nowadays incorporate expertly.

The remix is just the start of a truly special summer for Armin van Buuren, given the slew of IDs he has in his pocket. Most of them have been played or premiered in his incredible Electric Daisy Carnival set last May with no less than 10 unreleased productions. Among those is his 2023 edition of one of his biggest hits ever “This Is What It Feels Like” which turned 10 years old last month and a rework of “Infinity” alongside Guru Josh Project. His world-wide known A State Of Trance festival had to relocate from Utrecht to Rotterdam following the announcement that the iconic hall in Utrecht will be torn down.

Live Without Love has also been remixed by David Guetta himself exactly a week ago. We should expect more remixes in the coming weeks as was the case with David’s smash hits “Blue” with Bebe Rexha and “Baby Don’t Hurt Me” with Coi Leray and Anne-Marie.
