mau5trap has announced the release of limited edition vinyl pressings of three classic deadmau5 albums.

For the first time ever, record label mau5trap will release colorized limited edition vinyl pressings of three classic deadmau5 albums. Each of the three albums will be released one at a time at the start of next year. ‘for lack of a better name’ will come out on January 19th, 2024, ‘4×4=12’ will be released on February 16, 2024, and ‘>album title goes here<’ is set to be the third and final release on March 15, 2024. Each edition is currently available to pre-order on the mau5hop website. Deluxe packages are available to preorder on the Drop website.

Originally released in 2009, ‘for lack of a better name’ stands as deadmau5’s fourth studio album and will be released as a transparent turquoise hue vinyl. The album includes the beloved and timeless classics ‘Ghosts ‘n’ Stuff,’ ‘Strobe,’ and ‘Hi Friend!’ featuring MC Flipside. ‘for lack of a better name’ achieved RIAA Gold certifications in both Canada and the UK, securing the top spot in the UK.

In 2010, deadmau5 unveiled ‘4×4=12’ as his fifth studio album, and will be available as a transparent green vinyl. Nominated for a GRAMMY® in the Best Dance/Electronic Album category, this album houses chart-toppers like ‘Some Chords,’ the collaboration ‘Animal Rights’ with Wolfgang Gartner, ‘Sofi Needs a Ladder,’ and the GRAMMY®-nominated Raise Your Weapon featuring Greta Svabo Bech. The album’s widespread success is reflected in its chart positions across the US, Canada, UK, Australia, and more, earning RIAA Gold certification in the UK.

Continuing his streak of accolades, deadmau5 received another GRAMMY® nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album with his sixth studio offering, ‘> album title goes here <,’ released in 2012. The album features more of deadmau5’s biggest hits, including ‘The Veldt’ with Chris James, ‘Professional Griefers’ with Gerard Way of My Chemical Romance, ‘Channel 42’ with Wolfgang Gartner, and ‘Telemiscommunications’ with Imogen Heap. This album soared to the top of Billboard‘s US Top Dance/Electronic Albums chart and the UK Dance Albums charts, ultimately achieving RIAA Gold certification with over 40,000 units sold in Canada. The enduring popularity of ‘> album title goes here <‘ is a testament to deadmau5’s consistent ability to captivate audiences worldwide. The 13-track collection will be available as a transparent light blue vinyl.
