While Tesla boss and founder, Elon Musk, continues to cause controversy as he simultaneously runs X, the platform formally known as Twitter, car owners continue to celebrate the vehicles. Tesla owners in Finland just set a new world record set to the soundtrack of a classic dance anthem.

Throughout the years, Elon Musk and the team at Tesla have shown an affinity for utilizing dance music in their events and adverts, an aspect that has helped with the brand’s image as futuristic and exciting. These past experiences and marketing have inspired Tesla owners worldwide to combine their energy, ingenuity, and vehicles to deliver their incredible shows, coordinating the use of the cars’ lights to put on incredible visual displays.

The light show feature was initially inspired by a Tesla ad with the Model X, lining up three vehicles and timing the flashing of lights and opening of doors to music, the concept has grown as drivers from around the world come together to create their spectacles. Recent events in California and Germany have seen over 150+ owners unite to synchronize their vehicles and entertain crowds of thousands, but a recent display in Finland topped all of them.

Collecting over 687 vehicles, the recent Tesla light show is an incredible spectacle of music and visual concepts. The show begins with a pulsing version of Tears For Fears’ classic track, Everybody Wants To Rule The World before the iconic melody of Darude’s Sandstorm takes over, the perfect soundtrack to this monumental event.
