Officially titled Live From Drew’s Rental House, the EP features live versions of 2 of their October singles Summertime Friends and Think Of Us together with GRACEY. The American superstar duo calls these 2 versions winter versions.

Earlier in October, The Chainsmokers released Summertime Friends, an album compiled with their recent singles and collaborations. Only one of those tracks was released exclusively as an album inclusion, and that is Think Of Us together with the super talented GRACEY. Drew Taggart and Alex Pall recently posted a video on Instagram where the duo performed Summertime Friends live from what they call “Drew’s rental house”. From that moment on, fans were storming the comments begging the duo to put the live version on Spotify. Shortly after, another live version popped up on Instagram, this time around Think Of Us in collaboration with GRACEY being the centerpiece. GRACEY joined the duo in Drew’s living room and delivered a breathtaking performance, causing all sorts of havoc in the comment section. If the Summertime Friends live version went viral amongst the people, Think Of Us further elevated that hype and excitement.

The Chainsmokers’ Summertime Friends is not a full-on album, it’s a compilation of their most recent productions, as mentioned above. It includes collaborations with Latin giants Nicky Jam & Maluma, Brazilian superstar Alok and Mae Stephens, and a couple more. There is definitely room for future live versions of all these songs, and the duo mentioned that there will 100 percent be more versions like these in the near future. They just don’t know whose living room will they visit next.

Those who are using Apple Music instead of Spotify will also find the music videos The Chainsmokers originally uploaded to YouTube, as well as the audio versions. It is still unknown which track will get the live makeover like Summertime Friends and Think Of Us next up. It’s better if we don’t know so that the surprise can strike in full force. The winter versions of Summertime Friends and Think Of Us are out now on your favorite streaming platform and on YouTube.
