Franky Wah opens up the year with ‘Just Over’ remix for Yotto: Listen

Franky Wah remixes Yotto‘s breakthrough hit ‘Just Over’ which dropped on the ‘Growth‘ LP back at the start of 2023 has now been given a new spotlight in the house scene with a new touch from British DJ and record producer Franky Wah.

Originating from Yorkshire, England, Franky Wah has proven to be one of the most consistent artists in terms of releases in 2023 with the launch of ‘Road To Ibiza‘ which has achieved great success. After the launch of his Melodic House LP, he continued to still release EPs and remixes including a remix of ‘Disconnect‘ by Chase & Status and Becky Hill that has his melodic style and rhythmic touch all over it.

Franky Wah‘s version of ‘Just Over‘ is much more melodic and atmospheric than the original by Yotto and features a lot of new uplifting elements. Franky Wah’s signature sound is bringing euphoric arpeggios together layered with panned vocals that have been replicated by many producers and house artists in the last few years. Melodic house is quite different from the typical mainstream house music we are used to. It is softer in terms of dynamics and the elements such as the drums are more percussive-based.

Starting in 2024, Franky Wah will be kicking off his ‘All Night Long’ tour across the UK in places such as Glasgow, Liverpool, and Leeds. This will be a great start to the year for Franky to continue developing the melodic sounds and bringing them deeper and deeper into the mainstream and radio.
