SPL Releases MixDream XP Mk2 and Vitalizer Mk3-T

SPL (Sound Performance Lab) has released its brand-new mixing gear that will add to its existing line of pro mixing tools. This pair of cutting-edge mixing equipment showcases SPL’s dedication to advancing audio technology and refining the art of sound engineering. Let’s delve into the details of these latest offerings that promise to elevate the audio mixing experience to new heights.

SPL MixDream XP Mk2

The SPL MixDream XP Mk2 represents the latest iteration of SPL’s 16-in-2 channel discrete class A mixer. The updated version features a completely redesigned front panel, introducing advanced signal routing, precise metering options, and improved tactile controls. This blend of tradition and innovation creates a versatile and user-friendly interface, empowering both seasoned professionals and aspiring engineers to explore their creativity effortlessly.

The four channels on the left of the XP Mk2 can be summed to mono with a simple button press. The switches for activating the variable output mode and the expansion input are now flanking the output level control on both sides.
A notable addition on the right side allows a -18dB attenuation for the last four channel pairs. This feature is particularly useful for managing higher-level effects returns from the DAW, enhancing clarity and depth.

Vitalizer Mk3-T

The SPL Vitalizer Mk3-T is the latest version of their stereo tube processor for mixing and mastering.
SPL has upgraded & patented its internal circuitry for a higher dynamic range and more precise controls. On the right-hand side, a light is featured to articulate when the temperature of the device is optimal. The unit maintains the familiar and proven design of previous models, with the control set now presented in black.
