The Focusrite Group oversees a diverse range of brands, including the renowned Focusrite, Sonnox, Sequential, Oberheim, and Novation. In his role as president, Tim Carroll aims to build upon the legacy of Dave Smith, the founder of Sequential and a pivotal figure in MIDI’s inception, who introduced the first synthesizer with a MIDI port over five decades ago.
