Continuing his remarkable publishing spree, Tiësto has released yet another remix, this time around for Teddy Swims’ mega-hit Lose Control which has seen Teddy’s career rise to new heights.

Tiësto knows a hit when he sees it, and more often than not he loves to put his spin on it. Many massive tracks were remixed by the mercurial Dutchman, such as Tom Odell’s Another Love, Aqua’s Barbie Girl, ACRAZE’s Do It To It, and so much more. Remixing has become Tiësto’s forte as of late with official remixes for Kygo & Ava Max, Bizzarap & Shakira, and James Hype & Kim Petras. His latest headlining set at this year’s Ultra Miami saw him drop 7 different remixes alongside a slew of fresh unreleased material. Among those 7 remixes was his latest remix for Teddy Swims.

Teddy Swims has enjoyed envious success over the last couple of years. Since releasing his first record ever in 2019 titled Someone You Loved he managed to hit up electronic music more than once. 2022 was the year when he released his first collaboration with an electronic music producer, and it was TELYKAST. Soon after, Illenium called upon him for All That Really Matters, MK & Burns worked with his incredible voice on Better, and Armin van Buuren & Matoma combined with him on Easy To Love. But one track that has successfully thrown Teddy Swims into the spotlight was Lose Control which showcases only the best of his soulful and colourful voice. Tiësto has transformed the effervescent song into a house heater which is more than capable of completely transforming the dance floor into a pit of wild happiness. Lose Control remix is yet another testament to Tiësto’s unwavering dedication.

Tiësto provided us with one of the most memorable moments in Ultra Miami history when he took the stage at this year’s edition. Playing on Friday, he performed his set amidst pouring rain which saw his set stop for around 5 minutes due to too much water being present on the mixer. The crowd didn’t seem to mind though, as the rain only fueled their energy as they danced ferociously throughout the Dutchman’s performance. Day 1 of Ultra Miami was ultimately canceled after Slander barely finished their set and we were faced with one of the most intense days in the history of the festival. Luckily, everything turned out better than expected. Tiësto’s remix for Teddy Swims was part of a stacked tracklist and if you want to relive the performance you can do that as he dropped it on YouTube. Lose Control remix is out now on every major streaming platform and you can listen to it down below, as always.
