ADE 2024 reveals incredible first wave of speakers and events

Every year, the electronic dance community descends upon the Netherlands to experience the Amsterdam Dance Event or ADE as it is affectionally known. With about six months to go until the 2024 edition of ADE begins, the team behind the event has revealed some massive speakers and events for this year’s edition.

Featured Speakers

Those who attend ADE every year range from the superstars and tastemakers of the electronic music community to artists and producers just getting started, hoping to learn from and connect with others in the scene. With this sprawling range of attendees, the team behind the event works hard to curate speakers and events that will be valuable and engaging to a wide audience. After a record-breaking 2023 that saw 500,000 attendees, the team at ADE is looking to go even bigger this year, and the first reveal of guest speakers is surely a step in that direction.

Combining for a creative conversation will be two legendary producers, Martin Garrix and Timbaland, who between them have logged over four decades of innovation and success within their productions. Continuing its commitment to the entire global scene, ADE will continue its HOMECOMING program with founder Grace Ladoja discussing Nigerian music and other opportunities for African artists. Then there will be a celebration of the 25th anniversary of the iconic London club fabric. Frequent collaborator Laurent Garnier, who has helped to curate much of the anniversary mixes to showcase the legacy of the club, will be in Amsterdam to discuss the project and the club’s history.

Meet & Greets

As in previous years, many of the electronic music industry’s biggest promoters and A&Rs will also be on-site to connect with and offer feedback on how they operate. Attendees can expect workshops led by agents from WME, UTA, CAA, Primary and Wasserman, and other promoters who run some of the biggest festivals and events in the industry. Of course, the team at ADE also knows the importance of connecting artists with some of the biggest labels in electronic music so the next wave of hits can be signed. On-site this year will be Armada Music, Helix Records, Spinnin’ Records, b:electronic, and Get Physical as well as others, offering insights and listening sessions for those in attendance.

Live Events

It wouldn’t be a dance music event without also providing some entertainment at the incredible venues in Amsterdam provided by a wide variety of artists. With few details announced thus far, one of the most anticipated events will definitely be Tomorrowland celebrating its 20th anniversary at Ziggo Dome with a secret line-up. AMF will return once again to ArenA for a Saturday night show that will also be one of the biggest events of the weekend. Beyond that, Awakenings, DGTL, Intercell, Loveland, Shelter, Thuishaven, and Zeezout are among those set to host events this year and more details will come as ADE gets closer.
