Martin Garrix, the Dutch DJ and record producer, once again proved why he is one of the most sought-after names in the electronic music industry with his incredible set at Ultra Miami 2024.

Martin Garrix started his set at Ultra Miami 2024 with “Empty”, a track that set the mood for the evening with its energetic beats. He then played “Good Morning”, a track that captured the lively atmosphere of the festival. He also played “Virus (How About Now)”, a song he made with MOTi. This hit, as with many others, is more than just a song – it’s a nostalgic journey back to the ‘Golden Era’ of EDM. Whenever it’s played, especially in a live set like at Ultra Miami 2024, it resonates with the audience, stirring memories and emotions tied to the early days of the genre.

One of the highlights of the set was the inclusion of “High on Life”, a track that has become synonymous with Garrix’s uplifting and energetic style. The crowd’s reaction to this track was incredible as always, creating one of the most memorable moments of the festival.

Garrix also showcased his versatility with a number of collaborations. The set included “ALOK & The Chainsmokers ft. Mae Stephens – Jungle (Arcando Remix)” and “Martin Garrix & Sem Vox – Gravity”, demonstrating his ability to work across genres and with a variety of artists.

The use of Drum and Bass (DNB) in his set, particularly in the “Scared to Be Lonely (DNB Mix)”, was a welcomed surprise. It added an unexpected twist to the performance, showing Garrix’s willingness to experiment and push boundaries.

Martin Garrix ended his set at Ultra Miami 2024 with the song “Wherever You Are” by Martin Garrix & DubVision ft. Shaun Farrugia. This track, which is not yet released, left a lasting impression on the audience, wrapping up the night on a high note. It was a fitting end to a diverse and energetic performance.

Despite some weather issues on the first day of the festival, Martin Garrix put on a solid performance on the second day. His set at Ultra Miami 2024 was more than just a playlist of songs, it was a thoughtfully arranged experience that the audience thoroughly enjoyed.
