Google reveals new DJ mode during I/O Developer Conference

As one of the leading tech companies worldwide, Google is always working to deliver new products to its users. At its recent I/O Developer Conference, it offered several exciting audio and visual content creation features.

During its annual I/O Developer Conference, Google took the time to showcase some of the more exciting new features it is preparing to launch. It will come as little surprise that AI was a main focus of the event. The tech giant unveiled new tools for improved content creation. Starting with video, the new VideoFX feature, a model based on the previous DeepMind generator Veo, was announced. It will allow users to create Full HD (1080p) videos simply from text prompts. The conference also focused on DJ Mode as part of the MusicFX generator. The new tool will help users quickly create loops and samples from prompts.

As Google further dives into the artificial intelligence space, it is also expanding its Gemini AI features throughout its product offerings. Users will now be able to access the AI tool via the side panel of several Google Suite apps. While utilizing Gmail, Google Drive, Docs, Sheets, and Slides, users can have Gemini assist with reading and summarizing emails, answering questions, and even crafting emails.

As of this writing, there are no release dates for the new VideoFX and DJ Mode features but Google is certainly looking to make them public sooner than later as AI continues to dominate creation tools.
