HARMAN Professional Solutions has acquired Flux Software Engineering

Already boasting an incredible array of talent and technology solutions, HARMAN Professional Solutions impacts various automotive and consumer electronics technologies. Never willing to be contented or at a standstill, the company is now acquiring Flux Software Engineering to integrate new technologies and solutions into its offerings.

While HARMAN may not be a household name for most individuals, its offerings are most likely found in every musician’s home as they craft technology that helps support popular brands such as JBL, AKG, Crown, Revel, and many more. Now HARMAN will be introducing the incredible sound solutions from Flux Software Engineering into their own products. Briand Divine, The President of HARMAN shared his excitement of the acquisition:

The foundational technology developed by the talented FLUX: team opens many opportunities for future integration with our portfolio of brands.

For those unfamiliar with Flux, the company specializes in immersive audio production, audio processing plug-in design, and audio analysis. Boasting over 20 incredible products, the France based company provides three main areas of focus for its output:

• FLUX: SPAT Revolution is a powerful object-based and perceptual immersive mixing solution providing artists, sound-designers, and sound-engineers the tools to design, create, and mix outstanding real-time immersive experiences.
• FLUX: Analyzer is a modular RTA-system providing an extensive range of analyzer options for any audio analysis and measurement application.
• FLUX: Processing includes a comprehensive suite of plugins including channel strips, EQs, dynamics processing, and more.

Gaël Martinet, the CEO and Founder of Flux also spoke of his own excitement of the upcoming acquisition:
