Mau P will lead a powerful night at Bootshaus on 2 September
Mau P, the creator of ‘Drugs from Amsterdam’, is taking over Bootshaus for an electrifying evening.
September kicks off at Bootshaus with a programme that simply cannot be missed. Germany’s best nightclub lives up to its status by bringing the hottest names in European electronic dance music and beyond to its booths. This time it’s up to Mau P to take Bootshaus by storm for an electrifying night. The event takes place this Saturday, 2 September, and tickets are available on the official website.
Mau P is not only a household name, but also one of the DJs and producers of the hour. His hit ‘Drugs from Amsterdam‘ from 2022 is one of the main reasons for Mau P’s fame, but that’s not all. Raised by two musicians in an environment full of melodies and rhythms, Dutchman Maurits Westveen became involved with the intricacies of electronic music at an early age. His first alias was Maurice West, dedicated to a big room, progressive house and hardstyle sound. The talented artist continued to evolve, not only in terms of his creativity but also in terms of his musical genres, diving into other seas. He went through house and minimal until he dived into the colourful dimension of tech house. The single ‘Drugs from Amsterdam’ is one of the tracks of 2022 and the tune that spread Mau P’s name around the world. The track has received wide and personal support from top artists. ‘Gimme That Bounce‘ is another song to storm the charts, and this summer his incredible ‘Metro‘ with Kevin de Vries caused a stir.
Mau P is undoubtedly one of the artists of the moment and is sure to make the night of 2 September unforgettable. There will be no shortage of rhythm, energy and great music. Mark your calendars for Saturday, 2 September, from 10 pm to sunrise: The epicentre of music in Germany is in Cologne, at the Bootshaus.
