Berghain announces 52-hour New Year’s event ‘Silvester Klubnacht’

Berlin’s popular club Berghain brings back the “Silvester Klubnacht” party in 2023 including acts like JakoJako, Bendik Giske, and Suze Ijó. During the four-day marathon from 30 December to 2 January, a number of exciting performers will pay their respects to the long-running New Year’s Eve event.

Berghain, the venue in Berlin, has announced that its long-running party series Silvester Klubnacht will continue in 2023. The institution opened its doors in 2004 and has hosted this New Year’s Eve party almost every year since. Unfortunately, during the pandemic, the event was canceled in 2020 and 2021, leading to rumors that Berghain could close for good at the end of 2022. Fortunately, this did not turn out to be the case, and the institution seems to have recovered. The 2022 Silvester Klubnacht has been organized, as will this year’s New Year’s Eve celebrations in December. The marathon party series will run from 30 December to 2 January, bringing a number of big acts to the stages. Four stages will be waiting for visitors: Berghain, Panorama Bar, Elektroakustischer Salon, and XXX-Floor.

The Berghain will bring artists such as Don Williams, JakoJako, and Fadi Mohem to the stage, while the Panorama Bar will offer performances by Marie Montexier, Suze Ijó, and Avalon Emerson. The XXX Floor lineup will bring a number of interesting artists to the New Year’s Eve event, alongside Chris Cruse. The Elektroakustischer Salon will welcome fans with great sets from Bendik Giske, Richard Akingbehin, Nick Höppner, and Jin Synth. The full lineup for the 4 stages can be found on the official Berghain website. Before the Silvester Klubnacht, Berghain will also be holding a Christmas Madness in the Panorama Bar. But also the 9th of December will mark the birthday of the institution (honored by an event), which is now in its 19th year in the heart of Berlin.
